- Curricular reform efforts to integrate discussion of colonialism and slavery in the first year PhD sequence, as well as efforts to include experts and insights from other social sciences with a longer history of studying structural inequality.
- Antiracism reading group: the group will initially have some training/learning and reflection based sessions and then move into a reading group that is more centered on research and race within the field of economics.
- Research grants for graduate students researching topics related to social justice, to support scholarly work related to diversity in inclusion.
- Graduate School Admissions Mentoring for underrepresented minority students interested in applying to an economics PhD program including Berkeley.
