Boosting research

Supporting Student Research

BEE hosts one two two seminars throughout the semester for students to present their research in a low-pressure environment. The goal is to encourage a diverse group of PhD students to share their research, practice presenting in a safe place and receive feedback from other students. The research projects presented can be at all stages - from brainstorming research ideas to finished papers.

  • Research in Progress Workshop (year 2 & 3)
  • Practice Seminar or Lunch presentation (year 4)
  • Introduction Job Market paper (year 5+)
  • Practice job market pitch (job market candidates)
