BEE is partnering with UME (Underrepresented Minorities in Economics) to offer one-on-one tutoring services and mentorship programs to undergraduates. In addition to these programs, BEE is planning mixers, coding workshops and graduate school information panels to be hosted with UME and UWEB (Undergraduate Women in Economics).
BEE hosts coding workshops where undergraduate students are led through a real-world data analysis exercise using Stata. Volunteers from WEB circulate the room and provide assistance as needed.
Past events
BEE (formerly WEB) participated in the Undergraduate Women in Economics Challenge, together with Professor Martha Olney. As result of this endeavor we helped the undergraduate women create their own organization, Undergraduate Women in Economics at Berkeley (UWEB).
